Kmart #7218 was a Kmart discount department store located at Kmart Plaza, 5802 19th Street in Lubbock, Texas.[1] The store opened on April 19, 1979 as the third Kmart in Lubbock, the 100th Kmart in Texas, and the 1,530th Kmart overall.[2] The store ultimately closed on July 9, 1995 when it was replaced by Kmart #4972,[3] and was torn down for Academy Sports + Outdoors 49.[4]
